A "building turned inside out," "Martian-looking," and like a "Hard Hat" were all descriptions of the U.S. Steel Building.Through the use of murals, photographs, animated dioramas, and actual demon-strations, the story of steel from mining to products was on display for Fair visitors.

Bonneville Salt Flats speed record car was on display in the U.S. Steel Pavilion.
