Star Pylon

The Star Pylon tower represented the force of electricity. The 130-foot tower, which was made of Douglas fir, was fitted with tube lighting behind shields that directed the light along the deeply fluted wood surface.

The Coty Cosmetics Building can be seen on the left of the Star Pylon.
