Labeled as one of the most important art exhibitions of old masters ever displayed under one roof, the 500 paintings and sculptures valued at more than $30,000,000 were exhibited in twenty-five, well-lighted halls.
The works of art came from Italy, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Germany and England. These masterpieces portrayed the great art from the Middle Ages through 1800.
