"The Crest", by Brenda Putnam, located above a teardrop pool in the center of the garden court of the Consumers Building in the Production and Distribution zone. It depicts a male swimmer poised atop the crest of a stylized wave. The horizontal mass of the sculpture was intended to guide visitors through the arches of the building in the direction of Washington Square.
