Photographs and murals depicted various aspects of Virginia's rich and traditional history. Visitors could sit at desks and look at some of the many books and photographs that were displayed.
Three chambers were devoted to special functions: one contained the information office, another contained a large relief map of the state, and the third, contained an exhibition of the living archaeology conducted by the Williamsburg Restoration.
