Washington High School Band Letter

"Washington HIgh was the first public high school in SIoux Falls, SD. It was founded as Central high in the 1890s, but by 1908 was Washington High (my granbdfather graduated in '09 and my grandmother in '12), my mother graduated in 1935 and I in 1964. Until 1962 it was the only high school in the city. My graduating class was just under 1000 seniors!"
It appears that this stationery was locally made and used by the high school to promote their attendance at the '39 NY World's Fair.
This particular letter was a thank you for affording the HS Band an area to practice.
