The pavilion was filled with exhibits that explained the operation and function of heating, air-conditioning and plumbing in the home. The most up-to-date bathroom and kitchen arrangements were on display, along with the "illusion box" – a contrast between the bath of 1889 (50 years earlier) and 1939.
